Pat was director of HR at The New York Times for 21 years where whe solved some of the toughest problems for high-performing individuals.
Prior to joining corporate America, Pat was a Manager and Director of Training at the Psychiatric Institute of Columbia University. She was an instructor in Clinical Social Work in Psychiatry for Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and Associate Professor of Social Work at New York University. She has maintained a private practice in psychotherapy.
Pat holds three masters degrees: Psychology (St. John's University), Social Work (New York University) and History (University of California). Her undergraduate degree was from Wheaton College in Massachusetts.
She has been a member of the Employee Assistance Roundtable, Worklife Leadership Council of the Conference Board, Society for Human Resource Management, and Women in Communications. Pat has been an expert resource for numerous publications including "Crain's New York Business," "American Journalism Review" and "Editor and Publisher Magazine."
Pat is a pianist, and avid swimmer.
